Lady Elliot: Day

Spent the Easter weekend at Lady Elliot Island. Its a tiny island at the bottom tip of the great barrier reef. The whole place is riding the chill wave and it's one of the most rewarding and relaxing experiences I think you can come by.

Easter on the reef, and I can do this in my pool...

Got a big and apparently dorky generic underwater housing for birthday. Let the good times roll.

1950's Hong Kong

Dug out our old slide projector again and loaded up some more of dad's slides. There are some pretty amazing photos in there. The mould makes them all the more genuine.

Torbreck

I went out this afternoon to check out Torbreck. It was the first high rise built in Brisbane and sports some quietly appealing ugly 1950's architecture. I always had ideas about how it should look in my head but can't ever translate them into a photo. Its a great disappointment. As if for consolation, here's the address and some blurry sunset.
